**Environmental Consultant**

You will be working directly with the Senior Management Team to assist with the project management of environmental permits and regulatory compliance on behalf of AAe’s Clients within the waste and development sector.
- You should have a background and interest in one of the following disciplines: environmental science, geology, physical chemistry and geosciences.
- You must be educated to at least to degree level and be able to demonstrate good quality report writing. This role is suitable for capable graduates and/or individuals with 1 - 2 years experience in the waste/environmental compliance sector. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to keep up to date with trends and best practice in environmental permitting and compliance. You must be diligent and able to organise self to be on time, delivering work to set timelines. As part of a Client friendly Company, you will be positive, professional and build rapport with Clients. Applicable work experience is desired.

**SALARY & BENEFITS**:

- Full Time;
- £25,000 per annum;
- Bonus (dependent on Company performance);
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays;
- Pension Scheme;
- Company will cover relevant membership of a relevant professional body;
- Regular internal and on the job training;
- Use of company vehicles for site visits; and
- Expenses and mileage claimable for site visit work (upon agreement).

**KEY SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Educated to degree level: ideally in environmental science, geology, physical chemistry and geosciences;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to undertake site work, when required;
- A ‘can do’ attitude and good work ethic;
- Good standard of report writing;
- Communicate effectively;
- Good use of Microsoft Excel and Word;
- Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team; and
- Clean UK/EU driving licence.
