**Teaching Assistant**

Teachers UK and Provide Education are currently recruiting a large number of Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding local areas.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the teacher across the whole class or working 1:1 or group work with some students and ensuring that all students are engaged and on task.

**Other duties as a Teaching Assistant include**:

- Set up and tidy classrooms for lessons.
- Work with students to make sure they understand.
- Watch, record and report the progress students make.
- Look after children who are upset or unwell.
- Lead classes with help from the teacher.
- Have a passion to work with young people.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be able to work well as part of a team but also individually.
- Have strong behaviour management skills.

As a Teaching Assistant, the typical school hours are 8:30-15:30 and any variance to this will be confirmed by your consultant prior to your assignment.
