**Senior Systems Accountant | Burton-on-Trent | £50,000 - £60,000**

Macildowie are currently supporting a local employer of choice. This role will be **responsible for the development of the core financial system and the integration into a new ERP solution**. You'll need to have a track record of demonstrating high levels of accountability, be financially astute, with significant experienceof statutory accounting and internal/external audit. Able to confidently work with internal and external stakeholders.
**What is the job?**
- Support the IT Director with Financial projects Including upgrade / replacement of the current finance and ERP system
- Assist the Group FC with all systems projects
- Support systems related improvements for month end management account process and Budget
- Ad hoc projects supporting the CEO, CFO and Group FC
- Liaison with external advisers on statutory audit and related activities
- Document all finance IT systems processes
- Provide user training where applicable

- IT and Finance teams
**What are you like?**
- Appropriate accounting qualification ACA/ACCA or CIMA
- **Previous systems/finance background**.
- Must have experience of systems implementations
- Understanding of accounting concepts
- Manufacturing accounting experience
- A track record of delivering projects on time
- Experience of working with Hyperion systems
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
