I am delighted to be supporting a manufacturing business on the appointment of a Lead Buyer.
My client, an international manufacturing business with a site in Teesside, is actively looking for a Lead Buyer to join them on a permanent basis.
This great opportunity, will be to manage and coordinate an effective procurement team who will manage the procurement of raw materials required to meet the production plan. You will be responsible for managing cost and inventory levels and improve and drivingforward lead-times across the supply chains.
As a Lead Buyer, you will be a dynamic and proactive procurement leader with an experience in operating in a niche manufacturing environment. You will have some level of CIPS qualification and be an experienced in using ERP and MRP systems. You will lead byexample and have a proven track record in driving forward cost savings and developing stakeholder management.
