Data is essential to delivering SQA services. As SQA continually strives for innovation and improvement, we need to be in a position to leverage technology to realise new opportunities to use our data for even greater efficiencies and better service delivery.

The Data Governance team is part of the broader Data Solutions function. The Data Governance team is responsible for the delivery of the Data Governance framework through facilitating cross-business collaboration; promoting data as a valuable asset; monitoring accountability in the business and transparency of required processes and standards; provide organisational support to drive compliance with the framework; monitor and support business remediation relating to Data Governance.

We are seeking someone who is interested in the data that supports our products and stakeholder platforms and the value that it can bring through sound governance. You will be working with the Data Governance Manager, contributing to the development and delivery of the data governance programme.

Proven experience of influencing key stakeholders in other contexts would be useful but not essential and is certainly no more important than the behaviours to enable it - resilience, influencing skills and ability to challenge.

You will need proven experience in leading activities, excellent communication and influencing skills in order to bring colleagues across the organisation on the journey and should be passionate about coaching and educating others on the importance of Data Governance. You will have the ability to hit the ground running and quickly learn and contribute to activities in support of the Data Governance framework.
