To manage and oversee a portfolio of quality team projects and workstreams as identified by the Director of Quality

To deputise for the Director of Quality as required.

To manage the clinical and educational leadership, contributing to the strategic development of Workforce Training & Education (WT&E) NHS England.

To contribute to the vision of the local NHS and to enhance patient care by providing leadership and direction with respect to the quality of education and training.

To be an advocate and a positive role model on behalf of NHS England, by promoting leadership that inspires, motivates and empowers all staff, and demonstrating the values of the NHS.

To assist in the development and delivery of programmes and projects across the organisation that assist in the delivery of WT&E NHS England quality framework, including supporting the development of the multi-professional workforce.

To work with the quality team to support and capture innovation locally and share best practice.

To emphasise the importance and promote development of a quality environment for all learners.

To support the Regional / and or local Postgraduate Dean in meeting all NHS England statutory duties/requirements

To support the implementation of NHS England quality processes which are complimentary across the healthcare workforce

To support the use of clinical skills training and simulation (where appropriate/applicable), stressing the importance of workforce and human factors.
