**Summer Boatperson - RSYC**

**This is a great opportunity to join the Royal Solent Yacht Club's dynamic crew on-the-water this Summer.**

If you possess the following qualifications and experience, then this could be the ideal role for you:

- RYA Powerboat Level 2
- VHF licence
- Boat handling experience (outboard, traditional shaft, jet drive)
- Good knowledge of sailing & ideally racing
- Flexibility with working times (some evening & weekend work required)
- Good time keeping skills
- Using own initiative
- Good people & communication skills
- And above all being a team player

You will be working under our experienced Head Boatman, Tom, carrying out the following tasks for the fixed term of 20th May - 8th September 2024:

- Maintenance of Club boats
- Driving Club boats, including ferrying members to & from moorings
- Mark laying
- Property maintenance
- Grounds maintenance
- Flag etiquette
- Event preparation
