**Technical Programme Manager**
A leading financial service corporation is currently recruiting a Technical Programme Manager who has recent change/transformation experience within Infrastructure / Cloud as our client embarks on a digital transformation in order to modernise their complexIT estate. You will responsible for the strategic partnership with the IT function through management and coordination of set of defined projects to successfully achieve delivery of the IT simplification and strategic IT change portfolio for the Programme.This role is paying a basic salary of £110,000 + 6k car allowance + excellent benefits to be based in Chatham or Wolverhampton (3 days PW in office).
**Core responsibilities**:

- Identifying success criteria, setting programme controls and be accountable for performance of the programme/s
- Line Management of Programme Managers
- Creating an environment where the programme/s can succeed through planning, design, resourcing and controlling the overall programme/s working effectively together managing dependencies delivering benefits and outcomes set out in the business case
- Ensure that programme activities operate within the agreed policies and procedures of the organisation and complies with all relevant legislation and compliance standards.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to elicit support and buy-in to programme objectives and to input to improve the programmes performance
- Responsibility for Programmes roadmap and maintaining the Programmes plan, whilst ensuring that constituent programme activities operate within the policies and procedures set by PMO, and complies with all relevant legislation and compliance standards
- Responsible for the programme's budget and reporting of forecast and spend into relevant programme boards including overall responsibility for business case and alignment with senior stakeholders and agreements through Programme Board.
- Be accountable for identifying, evaluating, communicating and managing priorities, strategic and operational risks, dependencies and opportunities across the Programme, whilst proactively seeking the optimum route the programme should take in respect to these
- Management of the business expectation and outcomes by establishing and maintain working relationships with the Portfolio Sponsoring Group, internal departments (Operations, IT, Testing, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Finance, etc.) and third party vendors(the latter with our clients Vendor management support) - ultimately ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the Programme to set deadlines and the Business's transition into the new BAU state in support of strategic objectives
**Core skill set**:

- Suitable for individual who has successfully managed several large/complex IT programmes (essential)
- Minimum 5 years' experience and proven track record working as an IT Programme Manager on multi million pound budgets incorporating complex/large projects into board level executives (essential)
- 5 years previous experience chairing internal committees and directing decisions from a senior management (essential)
- 2 years previous Line Management as a direct or matrix reporting line experience of 3+ (essential)
- Strong understanding of modern IT architecture and technology to ensure they can effectively engage with the IT teams, delivery partners and other programme managers (essential)
- Experience of Cloud / Infrastructure / IT Vendors (Dell, BT, CISCO) would be highly advantageous
- Advanced skills in change management methodologies including Agile, Prince II or equivalent are essential
