**Main job purpose**:
To provide QHSE support to the company and all Stakeholders, providing advice, guidance and leadership.
Work alongside key stakeholders to continuously improve the company safety performance and culture whilst retaining, maintaining, and managing within ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Primary contact for all Stakeholders concerning all QHSE related matters.
- Ensure all QHSE policies, procedures, and systems are up to date, accurate and relevant
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, best practice, and other requirements
- Maintain the company legal register and advise the company of changes to legislation / new legislation and how this will affect the business
- Conduct regular visits to branch locations and customer sites to provide QHSE support and conduct internal audits / inspections
- Ensure all branch locations are compliant with QHSE requirements and subsequent actions arising are logged, and achieved within defined timescales
- Support Managers / Supervisors in closing out incident investigations, open actions etc. raised as a result of audits, non-conformities and incidents.
- Support the QHSE Administrator with maintaining relevant and required certifications, accreditations, and supplier portals
- Completed internal and external QHSE site inspections and audits
- Review QHSE data, undertake trend analysis and compile then communicate reports and actions
- Chair the monthly QHSE Operational meeting
- Conduct investigations relating to accidents, incidents, customer complaints, non-conformances, and supplier complaints
- Develop and maintain risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Develop and maintain COSHH assessments
- Attend QHSE committee meetings at each branch quarterly, ensuring that employees are consulted with on a regular basis
- Coordinate fire and first aid activities at all branches
- Oversee all new employee QHSE inductions
- Contractor / Subcontractor approval
- Chair regular Top Management Review Meetings
- Maintain the online compliance management system and HSE e-learning programme
- Supervise and support the QHSE Administrator
**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Internal auditor training
- Have direct experience of maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Be comfortable working with all stakeholders within the business to deliver practical QHSE improvements.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: From £26,000.00 per year
