**Furniture/Lighting & Interiors specialist**

Holloways of Ludlow is a family owned lighting and homewares retailer of over 30 years standing with five stores and an online website. Our aim is to offer a wide range of quality designer lighting and homewares sourced from around the world and here in the UK. We have become leaders in the design industry by consistently sourcing and supplying a wide range of lighting, bathroom fittings and fixtures, furniture and products for every aspect of your home.

We are seeking a full-time, enthusiastic furniture, interiors & lighting experienced sales person.
- **Working within our friendly team the successful applicant's main duties and responsibilities & experience will include**:_
- Experience in the furniture, lighting & interior design industry is highly desirable.
- Quoting on projects
- Must possess strong sales ability through conversation and knowledge.
- Previous record of hitting sales targets
- Highly motivated and able to take initiative.
- Articulate with the ability to adapt to different customers and situations.
- Providing excellent customer service to our retail & contract clients with both speed and precision.
- Delivering a service where patience, empathy and building relationships with customers is key.
- Complaint handling including creating clear notes on customers’ accounts with relevant details, as well as escalating to the appropriate teams where necessary.
- Raising potential problems with management and the appropriate teams.
- Processing customer returns, claims and exchanges.
- A proven background in retail or contract furniture/lighting sales
- Able to handle pressure & use initiative.
- Experience in high end furniture/lighting/interiors.
- GCSEs or equivalent, English and Maths a must.
- Strong personality, friendly and approachable demeanour.
- IT skills - including MS Word, MS Excel, Google Drive ability to navigate price lists.
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously as well as in a team and being able to interact on all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm to learn and understand the industry is a must.

**Salary**: £22k-28k per year + competitive quarterly & annual bonus scheme.

**Job Type**: Full time (40 Hours) to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
