Kennel Hand

Responsibilities:

- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercise
- Clean and sanitise kennel areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the animals
- Monitor the well-being of the animals and report any concerns or changes in behaviour to the supervisor
- Administer medications or treatments as directed
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed
- Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with animals, such as in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter, is preferred
- Knowledge of animal care and behavior is beneficial
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Happy to work in all weathers

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners and address their needs
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
- Attention to detail to ensure proper cleaning and care of the kennel area
- Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures and medications

Please note that this position may require working on weekends or holidays based on the needs of the kennel.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: Up to £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
