**Job Overview**

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. This role is located in Silverwood Business Park, Lurgan.

**Job Description***

**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: 12 hours per week, 2 hours per day
**Shift Pattern**: Monday to Saturday afternoons
**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

**Main Duties**
- Internal housekeeping of a busy office building

**What we are looking for**

Cleaning experience is preferred however training can be provided.
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
- Capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate.
- Be open and honest.
- Be self-driven and determined.
- Strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
- The successful applicant will need to complete a criminal record and background Access NI check and complete airport security vetting. Having a criminal record will not necessarily debar you from working with Mitie. If required Mitie have a Policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders and a policy on secure handling use, storage and retention of disclosure information. These are available on request.

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role.
