Are you a genuinely caring, outgoing person with the ability to be friendly and supportive?

This post is for a personal assistant and companion to a smart, friendly and sociable lady. She is deaf with some mobility issues after a recent illness and is looking for someone to help with her recovery. She does not communicate verbally, which impacts on all aspects of her daily life. She is looking to employ a personal assistant and requires someone responsible and preferably with experience of providing care and sign language. Your role would be to provide support socially and with all aspects of daily living as required including assistance with personal care.

You will adapt what you do as required and be aware of the person’s health and any worsening symptoms and take appropriate action as required.

As part of the role you are required to undergo a PVG and present two references, one which should be from your last employer.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5 per week

Pay: £10.50 per hour
