Wignall’s are a local joinery company operating from Heathfield, Newton Abbot. Work includes bespoke Commercial joinery; Shop fitting, washrooms, fire doors, and Retail Joinery, kitchens and Bathrooms etc.

With an increase in manufacturing bespoke items, Wignalls are introducing a new role. They are looking to recruit a stock controller within the warehouse team. This will be a key role liaising across all departments ( including warehouse team, workshop team and project managers).

Due to the bespoke nature of the products that Wignalls manufacture, Stock / Goods in vary from project to project. The Stock controller will need to be an organised person, have meticulous attention to detail and excellent at communicating with the rest of the team.

**The role will include**:

- Processing goods in ( purchase orders / confirmation / delivery notes)
- Tracking orders and proactively addressing any failed or late deliveries.
- Uploading to the job sheet
- Chase missing items
- Aware of the schedule for each project
- Collate and Organise goods for jobs
- Communicate with team relating to delays / damages / returns
- Manage regular stock items, reviewing inventory to determine the need for stock replenishment
- Investigate stock issues
- Recording of Non-conforming products and arranging their returns
- Review and manage inventory including excess Stock

The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm ( with early Mornings and Saturday on a Rota, as necessary)

**Skills Required**:
IT literate

Supervisory experience

Understand the importance of good stock management, with a need for a methodical approach.

Friendly, good team player

Articulate

Numerate

Previous experience in the industry would be an advantage

**Salary**: £26,500.00 per year
