Cook/s Plant Based Bistro

Plant by Kat's Kitchen in Keswick, Cumbria are looking for a cook or cooks to work alongside herself and the team. The café has a seasonally driven plant based menu with staple dishes throughout the year. Much of our menu is scratch cooked and is 100% plant based. The cafe has an allotment and will be growing it's own vegetables, herbs and edible flowers seasonally. The cook will be involved in recipe development and menu creation along with the associated costings. Kat and the team are focussed on reducing our carbon footprint and reduing food miles as well as waste.

We are looking for a creative and experienced cook ideally with a current Hygiene Level 2 or higher (although certification can be offered after a qualifying period). Experience of plant based dish creation, presentation and baking/decorating skills would be beneficial but is not essential. We are looking for a competent cook who has managed a check board, who is interested I has a passion for plant based cooking.
