The Learning and Development Consultant will play a vital role in advancing Acorn’s unique culture and enabling the success of our leaders across the organisation. The role will provide a world-class leadership development experience through the deliveryof workshops and coaching and providing advice and guidance to business areas across the group. As the L&D Consultant you’ll proactively engage with key stakeholders to role model our learning culture and drive people capability across diverse groups of colleagues.

**Role**: Learning & Development Consultant

**Location**: Liverpool/WFH - this role will require ability to travel to multiple sites

**Working hours**: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm

**Salary**: £43,000-£46,000 DOE

**What you will be doing**:

- Reporting into the Head of L&D you’ll work as part of the L&D team to develop, deliver and measure complete learning solutions.
- You’ll have proven experience to set up and deliver classroom and virtual training workshops.
- You’ll be able to demonstrate your experience of consulting with business partners to identify skills gaps and learning needs and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Minimum of three years in an L&D/coaching role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high bar for accuracy.
- Proven track record in effective classroom and virtual facilitation in addition to the development of training materials and formats.
- Knowledge and delivery of coaching strategies.
- A contact centre, operational background with experience of performance management.
- Ability to demonstrate return on investment.
- Knowledge of eLearning platforms
- MBTI or equivalent
- CIPD
