Are you an experienced craftsman with a passion for luxury yacht building? Join our client’s team as an External Deck Fitter. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-end vessels renowned for their elegance and performance. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring precision and quality in every exterior detail of these prestigious yachts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fit sailing hardware, including winches, cleats, clutches, and tracks, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Undertake GRP/Fibreglass structure fitting and maintenance tasks.
- Install hull ports and marine windows to exact specifications.
- Fit pull and push pits with precision.
- Ensure the watertight integrity of marine hatches during installation.
- Conduct thorough quality and snagging testing through deluge.
- Execute skin fitting installation, deck gear installation, and teak deck installation with skill and precision.
- Install windows, portlights, and hatches accurately.
- Fit various fibreglass components with expertise.
- Perform fairing and finishing of final composite modules to the highest standards.

**Requirements**:
**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
- Proficient use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings accurately.

**Experience**:

- Proven track record of working with raw materials and tools to a high standard.
- Previous experience within the marine industry, particularly with timber/GRP boats, is desirable.

**Personal Characteristics**:

- Strong attention to detail to ensure exceptional craftsmanship.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Comfortable working at pace while maintaining high standards.
- Team player, able to collaborate effectively within a dynamic environment.

**Salary**: £30,160.00-£34,320.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (required)

**Experience**:
