Finance Analyst

The Finance Analyst will work with a small team delivering a value added service and proactive financial support.
This will include:

- Routine management of variance analysis, expenditure monitoring, and monthly operational reporting including insightful commentary and review
- Development and operation of specified systems and processes, including the monthly management accounting and reporting process
- Monthly and weekly forecasting
- Produce key Monthly Reports and Analysis for Senior Management
Providing proactive, expert financial direction and decision-making advice to works leaders, supporting or challenging with alternatives as appropriate
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of investment strategies to achieve optimisation of the financial return and risk profile
- Support the Annual Standard / AP Product Costing Process
About You:

- Qualified or Part Qualified with a recognised accounting professional body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Previous relevant accounting experience and be knowledgeable of financial processes, concepts and principles in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- IT literate; have strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel and demonstrate experience with SAP
- Be a good communicator, able to work off own initiative to achieve set objectives and continuous improvements
