Based in Kirkintilloch, our fabulous Team in Ashfield are on the lookout for active and understanding individuals to join them as Bank Support Practitioners. Our bank contracts will give you flexibility over the days and hours you work, tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit.

You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner and pay you for time.

**The Role**

As a Bank Support Practitioner you’ll play a vital role within our team providing shift cover to ensure continued high-quality, person-centred care and support during times of annual leave, training or sickness.

Our team provide holistic support to 5 individuals with a mix of Autism and Mental Health in a care home setting and work towards outcomes to increase their confidence and life skills. As a Support Practitioner you will assist with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care.

The people we support enjoy various activities including art and crafts, going to the gym or to the theatre to catch a show and many in-house activities. So being creative is an added bonus

- Confidence in using computers.
- Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
- Good organisational skills.

**Shift Patterns**

Our dedicated friendly team provide 24/7 support which is tailored to the needs of each individual and work as a team with two Practitioners during the day. Our shifts include 9am - 5pm, 2pm - 10pm and sleepovers which start at 9am until 9am the following day and sleep between 11pm and 7am. There is lone working in this service for the sleepover shift.
