Retail Supervisor

**Duties**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
- Train and supervise retail staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Conduct regular sales analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, reporting, and employee performance evaluations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a retail supervisory role preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Knowledge of market trends and ability to adapt to changing consumer demands
- Proficient in stock management and inventory control
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales analysis
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 5 years (preferred)
- Supervising experience: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 5 years (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Maidstone, ME14 1HP (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Maidstone, ME14 1HP: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (preferred)
