As a Senior Construction Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction activities, ensuring that our projects are executed with precision, efficiency and a commitment to excellence.

Senior Construction Coordinators control and supervise a portfolio of construction work being undertaken as part of the construction team on a programme of work. They assist in the development and enabling of the construction works then manage a team overseeing the works on behalf of the Construction Manager, ensuring that the design intent is met and that activities are executed to meet the regulatory & statutory requirements of the Licensee in a timely and cost-effective manner.

About Construction at Sellafield:
“Each day in construction can be different. Each project is on a different journey and depending on where you are in the lifespan of the job you will be involved in many different activities - it’s not always just about pouring concrete and completing installations. In fact there is a great deal of preparation necessary before we can carry out the physical construction work. - Essential Skills:
- Recognised ‘time served’ apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil discipline.
- Experience in directly managing a team delivering engineering or technical work with demonstrable record of success.
- Desirable Skills:
- CDM Awareness training.
- 5 years minimum experience within multi discipline projects.
- Experience of Managing Construction Work at Sellafield.
