**Location**: Bradford

**Role purpose**:
It is expected that the SQS will manage projects ranging in value of between £5m - £25m. Projects will be primarily based in the Public Sector and experience of leading schemes through two-stage procurement and pre-construction phases as well as delivery in construction is required. The SQS will be expected to demonstrate collaborative and partnering behaviours aligned to the Public Sectors through which we procure and operate to provide exemplary customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Attend tender presentations for new projects, contribute, lead commercially and present figures for adjudications
Prepare, monitor and oversee subcontract procurement, compile trade contract bid documents and carry out tender analysis and issue purchase orders
Provide accurate turnover forecasts for inclusion within business unit Forward Order Book document on a monthly basis
Overall project financial control
Look for opportunities to batch up works where possible and gain economies of scale benefits
Ensure that off-site, modern methods of construction options are investigated and pursued wherever possible for all projects as early in the process as possible to maximise any available benefits

**Skills and experience**:
Relevant trade / technical / degree qualified - MRICS preferred
Experience of managing and running commercial aspects of a project
Previous management of commercial staff with proven record of target setting, measuring objectives and managing performance
Experience of working on JCT and NEC forms of contract is preferable
