If you’re a safe driver with respect for the roads you drive, the product you deliver and the customers you meet, please read on.

**The role**

You’re responsible for providing our customers with an exceptional delivery experience and achieving a strong customer feedback score. You’ll closely adhere

to our best practice protocol set out in our Home Delivery Seven Step Principles. Putting the customer first, you’ll safely, courteously and promptly deliver and assemble furniture to their delight.

**Your skills**
- Customerfocused: you’ll consistently provide excellent customer service
- Achievementoriented: you’ll take full ownership of individual targets and your contribution to team objectives
- People centred: you’re a true team player, collaborative and helpful
- Quality focused: you’ll conscientiously execute tasks taking pride in your work
- Personally effective: you’re selfmotivated and able to self-manage. This is a physically demanding role, so you’ll also be comfortable lifting heavy goods

**Our business**

Founded in 1989, we’re now the UK’s leading independent furniture retailer offering beautiful furniture and accessories for every room in the home. Sourcing from across the globe - handmade mattresses from Yorkshire, bespoke marble-top tables from Italy, precision engineered wardrobes from Germany - we help our customers make their house a home.

**Our people**

In the words of our founder and CEO Peter Harrison: “we employ nice people to sell nice furniture to nice customers”. We’ve been doing it since 1989 when we opened our first store in Abingdon. Fast forward to today and we have 55 stores on the map with more to come.

The key to our success? Our people. The heartbeat of our business. We offer real progression, real training and real rewards. Not to mention real fun. There’s a reason over 20% of our team has received long service awards, it’s because they _want_ to stay

**The rewards**

A basic salary of £29,000 plus bonus OTE £33,500, and a host of industry-leading benefits:

- Driver performance supplement
- Cycle to work scheme
- Exceptional staff discount
- Pension
- Life assurance
- Health insurance
- Perkbox and generous staff discount
- Up to 33 days’ holiday
- Refer a Friend bonus
- A growing family business voted an Outstanding Place to Work

**Next steps**

As a family business, it’s really important to us that everyone feels part of our family. We’re an equal opportunities employer and welcome everyone. You’ll need:

- Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence
- Over the age of 21
- At least 2 years’ driving experience
- No more than 6 points
- Right to work in the UK
- Driver CPC and the right to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle
