The Role

As a General Operative, you will perform maintenance works at customers’ homes throughout North Devon.

You will work alongside our team of kitchen and bathroom fitters to support our Home Improvements Programme, including conducting prep work for electricians.

You will also assist on site with general labouring and delivery duties, including manual handling tasks, loading and unloading all debris and materials from or to stores, sites or places of disposal.

Please note, this role will involve significant amounts of lifting and carrying heavy objects.

About You

**To be considered as a General Operative, you will need**:

- Knowledge of the building industry
- The ability to assist in one or more of the following: removal of internal walls, boarding ceilings, laying flooring, basic kitchen fitting and decorations
- Knowledge of health & safety principles
- A full, valid driving licence
