Hydro is one of the main suppliers of aluminium extrusions committed to delivering high finish products to the automotive and engineering industries within the UK and European markets. Due to our on-going expansion, we are currently looking for a Trainee Finance Graduate to join our fast paced manufacturing site in Bedwas, Caerphilly.

**Role Purpose**:
To provide accurate and up to date financial data to the Finance Controller to support key financial decisions. To provide succinct, concise financial analysis including management accounting and support customer costing models.

**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Providing key variance analysis
- Provide key actual vs budget deviation analysis
- Assistance in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Understanding of costings and bills of material
- General ledger accuracy and maintenance
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Archiving
- Manual invoices/Sales ledger maintenance
- Petty cash
- National statistics, Intrastats and other government reports
- Internal/External mail

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**:

- Able to maintain an effective relationship with ‘internal’ and ‘external’ customers
- Knowledge of business goals and objectives
- Awareness of health & safety requirements and adherence to policy
- Pragmatic approach to environment changes
- Ability to work as a team
- High degree of numerical accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft excel knowledge
- ERP system methodology understanding
- Can produce concise data to tight schedules
- Hands on approach to financial management
- Cost/product costing accounting knowledge
