**Finance**
- General bookkeeping
- Invoicing and credit control
- Monitoring bank account
- Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to HMRC
- Managing all tasks related to child funding including liaising with families to complete FEEE forms and processing FEEE claims
- Setting the annual budget
- Payment and management of insurances for both settings and Company memberships e.g. BAND
- Monthly financial reporting to Trustees

- Attending monthly Trustee meetings and recording minutes
- Attending monthly Management Team meetings
- Attending training where required
- Keeping paper records and in conjunction with other staff safely storing up to date electronic documents
- Disposing of records safely after the prescribed retention period

- To carry out all other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected

**Compliance with statutory requirements**

Regular and timely updating of finance policies and procedures in line with changes to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and advisories from the Local Authority and the South West Steiner Fellowship.

All members of staff are directed to keep confidential any information concerning other members of staff, school business, families and individual children that they may learn through meetings, children’s records or conversation.

**Person specification for this role**

**Qualifications**
- Book-keeping or Payroll qualification - Desirable
- Enhanced DBS and criminality check - Essential

**Relevant experience - essential**
- Experience working with payroll and payroll systems
- Experience in general book-keeping and reporting
- Interest in technology and improving processes using technology

**Relevant experience - desirable**
- Experience in working in managerial or deputy positions
- Experience working in the Charity or Education sector
- Experience managing a website (wix)
- Experience with transitioning documents to one online platform
- Experience setting budgets and managing spend

- Able to manage an annual calendar for data submissions to authorities
