People Pillar is an award winning, small HR Consultancy with big dreams. We provide **outsourced HR support to a wide range of client**s, from startups taking on their first employees to medium-sized businesses needed strategic HR support.

Based in **Kent**, our clients span various industries, including retail, charities, distribution, tech, creative and sustainability.

**About the Role**

This role is **home-based with occasional travel** to client sites and team meetings/working from our office in Hythe, Kent.

You'll work **10 hours per week** (days and times to be agreed). As the business grows, there may be scope to increase your hours.

We're offering a salary of **£35,000-£40,000 pro rat**a.

In this varied role, your main responsibilities will include:

- HR Support: Deliver **operational, project and strategic HR services**, including developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our clients' business objectives.
- Relationship Building: Regularly **check in with clients** to ensure they are satisfied with our services and that we are meeting their HR needs.
- Business Development**:Help grow People Pillar** by responding to new client enquiries, networking, and engaging on social media. We'll provide full training and support to help you succeed in these areas.
- **Policy Creation**: Develop new employment policies and procedures, employer guides, and resources tailored to client needs or as templated for the team.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain **comprehensive records** via our client management system.
- Team Support: As a small team, we prioritise delivering outstanding customer support, which means **everyone pitches in** as needed to get the job done.

This is a fast-paced role in a growing company and the above list of tasks and responsibilities is not exhaustive. The role may change and adapt, in consultation with you, as the team grows.

**About You**

The role will be ideal for you if you:

- Are **CIPD qualified to Level 5** or have equivalent experience.
- Have **significant HR experience** with a proven ability to partner with senior managers to deliver operational and strategic HR.
- Have up-to-date knowledge of **employment law and HR best practices**.
- Have the ability to analyse and investigate the details of HR/employment law challenges, identifying root causes, risks, and issues, and providing clients with well-informed, actionable advice.
- Demonstrate creativity and adaptability in problem-solving, offering innovative solutions rather than relying solely on standard approaches.
- Are ready to transition into a consultancy role, **comfortable juggling multiple client demands**.
- Are **tech-savvy** and proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems like Breathe HR.
- Are highly organised, diligent and detail-oriented.
- Recognise the importance of delivering an **excellent client experience** and representing the People Pillar brand.
- Have a friendly, proactive, and professional manner with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Can **manage multiple priorities** while remaining calm.
- Believe that "if it's going to happen, it's down to me".
- Are self-motivated with a desire to learn and progress.
- Are proactive and prefer to think and suggest rather than wait to be told.
- Are curious and enjoy talking to people (even on the phone)
