Receptionist / Trainee Optical Assistant with a passion for eyewear. Working in boutique practices you will be part of a creative and clinical team with a focus on providing the best client experience in eyecare and eyewear.

As an Optical Assistant/Receptionist with us, you will play a vital role in supporting the team and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients with frame selection and advising on suitable eyewear styles based on their preferences and facial features.
- Conducting preliminary eye tests and measurements, including visual acuity assessments and frame adjustments.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records of patient information, prescriptions, and orders.
- Assisting with the ordering and management of eyewear inventory, ensuring an up-to-date and well-organized selection.
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that patients feel cared for and valued throughout their experience.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as an Optical Assistant or relevant customer service experience would be advantageous but not essential.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
- A willingness to learn and a passion for the eye care industry.
- Knowledge of eyewear styles and trends would be beneficial.
