**Sports Coach**

Development Direct Sport & Mentoring is seeking a Sports Coach to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with children in a variety of sports settings, from in the classroom to out on the pitch. As a Sports Coach, you will work to develop, coach, and mentor the children, providing fun, stimulating and educational sessions. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and demonstrate 'active coaching' by bringing energetic and inclusive sessions. We want someone who is passionate about inspiring the next generation, with a 'can do active' and a love for sport.

**Requirements**:

- 30 hours a week
- Start Date September
- UEFA Level One accepted
- UEFA Level Two desirable
- Experience Teaching children
- DBS Checked
- Safeguarding

**Responsibilities**:
**Instruct, coach, and mentor students on various sports.**
- Planning and delivering fun and engaging sport sessions to children (2 - 16)
- Teach and support within schools as well as outdoors for the club
- Communication with parents, children, and colleagues in our services
- Administration of registers and activities
- Clear skill development through sport sessions
- Delivering market-leading activity programmes with a great range of sports and activities
- Planning PE lessons
- Co-ordinate lunch time provision
- Planning and delivering sports days
- Overseeing after-school clubs
