We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Counter Assistant to join our team. As a Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and assisting with various duties in our restaurant. **Duties**:

- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the counter
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the system
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, and beverages
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing meats, chopping vegetables, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation is a plus
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
