Production Associate

Our client, one of the leading upholstery manufacturers, who supply to some of the biggest and most well-known retailers in the UK is searching for **Production Operatives** to be a part of their team on an **ongoing basis**.

** There are also currently vacancies within their Assembly department for those with previous assembly experience. **

**Responsibilities**
- Each department which you work in will be fast paced so it is important you will be able to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the production/manufacturing process is maintained.
- You will also be required to carry out some heavy lifting so you will be expected to have experience where you have displayed a competent level of manual handling.
- As you will be working within departments which consist of a high volume of staff, you must be able to work effectively as an individual or cooperatively as part of a team.
- Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, from sourcing and transporting materials to accurately tracking stock usage.
- You may find yourself delivering parts and partially completed products to other departments, assisting the assemblers/upholsterers to manufacture exquisite furniture items.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are maintained and the exceptional company standards are met at all times.

After a qualifying probationary period, you will be eligible for their bonus scheme too.

**Shifts**

6:45am to 5pm - Monday to Thursday.

You will be required to work a total of 39 hours a week.

**Pay**

£10.43 per hour - Weekly pay.
