HSE Representative - Pharmaceuticals - 7 Month Contract - Hertfordshire

Would you like the opportunity to work alongside a global pharmaceutical company who specialise in the discovery, development, and manufacture of innovative medicines and vaccines? Our client, responsible for the development of a number of key and revolutionary products and with a thriving global presence is recruiting for an HSE to join their Hertfordshire based project.

**HSE Representative Responsibilities**:
Liaise with the principal contractor at each site and drive ongoing continual improvement and the delivery of continuity across both sites
Conduct formal and informal site walks and spot checks (general and topic specific)
Produce reports with actions on a regular basis
Carry out periodic audit of the principal contractors’ records and documentation
Advise and guide all members of the project on all elements of construction health and safety
Chair the 2 weekly EHS forum
Maintain the EHS filing system and dashboard on the team site
Continually challenge both principal contractors to bring innovation and best practice to the project
Attend twice weekly project comcell and input on health and safety matters
Assist project managers with the production of health and safety documentation and their delivery of the CDM Client duties

**About you**:
NEBOSH qualification
Previous experience as an EHS Specialist within a construction project.
Previous experience of issuing and managing permits for external and internal.
Delivery of training as per the project needs.
Training and job experience which demonstrates a strong understanding of the following programs: Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, Working At Height, Hot Work, Mobile Equipment/Vehicles, Lifting Operations, High Risk Contractor & Construction Work, Chemical Management and Industrial Hygiene, Waste Management, Water Management and Emergency Response.
