Procurement Officer

Seeking an experienced and self-motivated Procurement Officer for an expanding manufacturing business in Penryn.

The Procurement Officer will cover all aspects of the procurement supply chain through handover to the finance function.

**Key duties**:

- Selection and validation of suitable suppliers, whilst maintaining approved supplier relationships and managing quotes
- Liaison with budget holders and producing cost-effective buying plans
- Purchase order processing
- Producing planning reports on departmental performance
- Dealing with import and export regulations and ensuring timeframes and targets are communicated and met

**Essential skills**:

- Previous procurement experience
- Strong IT skills to include MS Excel and knowledge of ERP systems
- Manufacturing background advantageous
- CIPS level 3-4 or working towards this (opportunity of company funded training)
