**Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;**
**To carry out general street cleansing works and operations on the highway**

**Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;**

**Formal qualifications required;**
- **If involved in weed treatments**:
- **City&Guilds-NPTC Level 2 Certificate of Competence in the Safe use of Pesticides**:
- **City&Guilds-NPTC PA1 Foundation Module**:
- **City&Guilds-NPTC PA2 Ground Crop Sprayer Mounted or Trailed**:
- **City&Guilds-NPTC PA2-PA02AR Vehicle Mounted Kerb Sprayer Hydraulic Nozzle and/or Rotary atomizer**:
- **City&Guilds-NPTC PA6 Hand Held Applicator**:
- **City&Guilds-NPTC PA6-PA06A Hand Held Applicator-Hydraulic Nozzle and/or Rotary atomizer**:
- **Graffiti Removal Training including pressure washer**:
- **WAMITAB Certificate of Competence for Street Cleansing L2**:
- **WAMITAB NVQ L2 Cleaning & Support Services (Highways & Land)**:
- **bin Lifter Systems - familiarisation**:
- **Conflict Resolution & Breakaway Techniques**

**Skills required;**
- **Works completed to contract performance standards COPLAR specification and programme.**

**Experience required;**
- **Bin Lifter Systems - familiarisation**:

- **To assist with winter maintenance activities if required.**

**Knowledge;**
**Competency in understanding the risks associated with Streetscene activities**
**To willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by Management, including but not limited to street sweeping, weed clearance, graffiti and fly posting removal, and fly tipping removal.**
