We are helping a well-established multi product womenswear supplier who supply to both supermarket and high street retailers secure a well versed Pattern Cutter to
their 80 strong team. The produce both in Leicester and overseas and are adding to the team

**Job Duties**
Creative manual pattern cutter.
Creating first patterns from my own research and design ideas catered to the customer.
Development of patterns from other designers and customers.
Speaking directly with machinists and production to ensure patterns are production friendly and easily made for the high street and online retailers.
Creating clear specification sheets for sample machinists to follow.
Assisting with the fit processes of the garment.
Modifying non-standard pattern 'bases' taken from the company's pattern library.
Experience in technical makeup to ensure fit garments sent are to an excellent standard.
Altering and shaping flat, standard pattern 'blocks' into a style.

**MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED**
A recent experience working with a womenswear high street supplier as a manual pattern cutter
Track record of producing first patterns
Be able to work well with sample machinist and design teams
Be able to Alter and shape flat standard patterns blocks into style
First class communicator in English
Well organised and a team player
Applications must be from UK based Pattern Cutters and eligible to work in the UK for 5 years or more
