As an Event Ambassador you’ll be the friendly face of the University at recruitment events including Open Days, Campus Tours and Applicant Days as well as at corporate events which engage with key stakeholders. You will support the preparation, set-up, and delivery of high-quality events. Event Ambassadors are responsible for helping guests have the best experience possible at the University during both virtual and in-person events. Whether online or on campus, you will welcome prospective students and share your experiences of being a student in Worcester. You may also support academic staff in the delivery of course talks and taster sessions from your own course.

Within this role you will also have the opportunity to represent your course through online channels. You’ll have the chance to work with our digital team to create social media content (including, for example, infographics, blogs, videos and photographs) as well as answering questions from prospective students through our digital ambassador platform, Unibuddy. We’ll give you full training to use Unibuddy.

Ambassador work is flexible and is designed to fit alongside studies. Event Ambassadors are encouraged to work Open Days and Applicant Days. Additional, regular work opportunities include campus tours, taster days and corporate events. The post holder's will be registered as students at the University of Worcester, and will be eligible to undertake work in this role whilst they remain registered as students and until their date of graduation.

**From 1 August 2023, the rate of pay for this role will increase to £11.22 per hour.**
