**Overview**:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Renewable Energy Asset Manager on behalf of one of our clients.
Due to further growth within the company, this exciting opportunity has arisen to assist in the management of the day-to-day operations of a growing portfolio of innovative projects, covering commercial, financial, and technical requirements.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage assets according to priority level, delivering projects on time and to budget.
- Develop and present reports on asset status, needs, risks, goals and progress.
- Manage third parties to deliver projects, including but not limited to; landlords, operations & maintenance providers, feedstock parties, owners, operators, brokers.
- Monitor contractor performance ensuring SLAs are met or improved upon.
- Monitor operational activities including contracts, work scheduling, payments.
- Prepare financial statements, models, reports and forecasts on total portfolio.
- Work with third parties to assist in financial reporting and budgeting.
- Identify ways to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Assist in ensuring the portfolio complies with its planning, regulatory, HSE and legal requirements.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Foster and maintain positive client relationships.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience in asset management within the renewables sector (desirable) with an understanding of anaerobic digestion (desirable).
- Strong analytical skills, including a firm grasp of financial metrics and data manipulation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, a natural collaborator.
- Leadership potential, including managing contractors and third parties.
- Detail orientated with robust time-management skills.
- Skilled in negotiation and project management.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite skills, especially Excel.
- You must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
