**About the opportunity**:
We are currently looking for a permanent** Sustainability Advisor** to join our growing Legal department in Hamilton/Stonehouse office (remotely if necessary).
As a Sustainability Advisor you will lead Last Mile in developing and implementing its sustainability strategy and framework. This will include actively working with stakeholders to develop ESG initiatives, set targets and monitor progress with the overall aim of improving Last Mile’s ESG performance and associated credentials.

**Your responsibilities**:
- To manage and complete company’s ESG reporting including periodic reports to our shareholders, GRESB and other frameworks as required.
- To lead a process of continuous improvement with internal stakeholders across our ESG accreditations and ratings.
- To lead Last Mile’s journey to gaining BCorp accreditation.
- To conduct research that will support and deliver on our sustainability vision.
- To harmonise ESG workstreams across group subsidiaries, delivery wider benefits and efficiencies.
**Experience / Knowledge**:
A high degree of communication and problem-solving capability.
Proven analytical and reasoning skills.
Self-starter with a ‘can do’ approach
High standard of written and spoken communication
Ability to understand and analyse complex information.
The appointee to the post of Sustainability Coordinator may either be:
- from an ESG background, or qualification
Essential: Educated to NVQ Level 4.
Desirable: Degree level in in E, S or G related discipline.
