We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Purchasing Assistant to join our busy Project Management based team in Stockport

Daily duties include:

- Procurement and scheduling of products, materials and plant equipment for our construction projects throughout the UK
- Preparing purchase orders and logging any internet orders on project control documentation
- Controlling and maintaining our approved suppliers list
- Ensuring all suppliers are evaluated
- Monitoring and reporting price increases to Project Managers
- Tracking orders and addressing any non-conformities of suppliers
- Ensuring all site equipment is logged and registered
- Ensuring all equipment is calibrated where necessary
- Maintaining and developing our supply chain
- Keeping logs of stocked materials throughout the business
- Other adhoc administration to assist smooth running of office

This is a new role within MJM Contract Services and we are interested someone who can make the role their own using their own initiative to build the role and improve our business practices.
