**REGISTRATION OFFICER**

Primarily reporting to the Director of Membership, you will play a part in the management of a broad range of tasks that fall under the umbrella of registration and licensed activities. You will have an Undergraduate degree and/or reasonable professionalexperience in an administrative role.

If you are an experienced membership professional with an excellent working knowledge of accreditations, professional membership, and licensing with a real interest in influencing and impacting the measurement, automation, and control industries, this isa brilliant role with lots of scope for impact.

**WHAT ARE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?**
- Taking shared responsibility for accreditation, company approvals and the relationship with Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), the Engineering Council and other approval bodies.
- Providing administrative support to the Accreditation Committee and the Professional Registration Committee.
- Supporting applicants for Membership and Professional registration.
- Processing and administration of professional registration activities, including organising interviews.
- Organise and monitor training for volunteers involved in licensed activities.
- Supporting volunteers and committee members and others to ensure that work runs smoothly, and to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
- Developing and monitoring all procedures and policy for licensed activities in line with the Engineering Council requirements, including maintaining and rewriting internal regulations and procedures where necessary.
- Implementing and administrating annual CPD audit of registered members.
- Other reasonable tasks as required that fall under membership services and licensed activities.

- Able to work autonomously and manage your own workload.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
- Confident to communicate effectively to a range of audiences.
- Ability to write committee papers and reports and other communications in clear, plain English.
- Adaptable, able to multi-task and work to deadlines.
- A strong team player and enjoys working as a part of a small team.
- A broad understanding of qualifications systems.
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

**WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU REQUIRE?**
- Managing processes and procedures and working within standards and competence or outcomes-based frameworks.
- Working with committees and volunteers and writing committee papers.
- Working with external regulators or university quality systems.
