The role of the Warehouse Supervisor is essential in ensuring that all campuses get off to the best start to their summer. Working as a team, you will ensure that each of our programmes are supplied with everything needed, to run a pop-up summer campus with the support of a Warehouse Team.

Your main focus will be to work with the Logistics & Procurement Manager, resulting in managing the team to co-ordinate / pick and pack the boxes, that are sent out to the campuses throughout the UK, and ensuring that all stock is accounted for and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner. Packing the equipment for the campuses requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency and
detail.

The role is very busy and varied and acts as the backbone of the summer school, providing the initial and essential setup that allows campuses to thrive.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

**Pre Summer**:

- To complete a full Health and Safety Training program prior to commencing Warehouse work
- Alongside the Logistics & Procurement Manager, establishing the requirements for each site and each course, creating accurate spreadsheets
- Updating stock lists of our storage units and manage the facilities / company vehicle
- Assist with the planning for stock delivery to the staging area or directly to the site
- Managing a support team of up to 5 people
- Ensuring that all support team are fully trained and supported appropriately (H&S/PPE)
- Managing a team to complete the packing lists for each site ready to be deployed
- In conjunction with the Logistics & Procurement Manager, organise the delivery timetable and sign off process
- Ensuring the team is working effectively whilst observing, maintaining health and safety, and ensuring legal compliance at all times

**During Summer**:

- Troubleshooting issues throughout the summer and organising refresher deliveries
- Ensuring that the company vehicle & storage areas are maintained with issues reported
- Ensuring the team is working effectively whilst maintaining health and safety and ensuring legal compliance at all times
- Coordinating the return of materials to our storage unit
- Ensuring that all materials are catalogued, counted & documented at the end of the summer

**Person Specification**:
This job would suit someone who displays the following key attributes:

- Comfortable working in warehouse environments and physically able to lift heavy loads as required
- A team player who can confidently supervise and work with others
- Comfortable working with spreadsheet data and instructions
- Highly organised and methodical approach to work
- Can take initiative to solve problems
- Attention to detail
- Observes, understands and implements the basic requirements of Health and Safety in the workplace / Company Van
- Clean UK Driving License and access to a vehicle.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Experience of working in logistics or stock taking.
- Possible relevant experience might include work in operations for events or hospitality, theatre industries, or a production team for TV/film. Relevant experience will be looked upon favourably, although it is not essential.

**Position Details**:

- Working hours will be 40 hours per week
- Weekend and evening work will be required at times, particularly during the busy summer months
- Mainly based at our storage facility north of Oxford / time at Head Office on occasions
- Fixed term contract to end of September 2024
