**Trainee Credit Controller**

We are providing full training and support for somebody who wants to start a new career, gain an understanding of the credit and finance world, and embark on their Radius career journey. **Salary**:Up to £24,000 base salary** **dependant on experience plus a quarterly commission scheme

**Location**:Radius Campus, Emperor Way, Crewe Business Park, CW1 6BD

**Hours**:Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm

**What would your day to day look like as a Trainee Credit Controller?**

This would be dependent upon the area you work, however typical responsibilities you can expect are;
- Daily contact with customers via Telephone, SMS, E-mail, Payment links or Letter, in line with credit policy
- Keep accurate and complete records of all customer contact
- Escalation of accounts and issues as required
- Actively engage in relevant and appropriate opportunities for cross-department working to build relationships & share knowledge
- Use exposure to different areas of Credit and businesses / products to share good ideas and approaches across the team and improve the processes and systems as a result
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our sales team.

**What do we expect of you as a Trainee Credit Controller?**
- **
Communication **- the ability to develop rapport with customers and colleagues over the phone.
- ** Attention to Detail - **a head for numbers and ability to spot and solve problems whilst dealing with a high volume of transactional data.
- ** Drive to Succeed - **driven to achieve targets, tenacious and persistent in your approach.
- Experience in a credit control or finance role is desirable but not essential
