Salary - £10ph

Our client requires an experienced Warehouse Operative and the purpose of the role is to operate effectively and assist in the co-ordination of all warehouse activities to maintain control over stocks to meet the schedule requirements of the business.

**Principle Responsibilities**
- Stock Control including receipt, storage, issuing, picking, dispatch, perpetual inventory checking and stock taking
- Administrative duties to enable the despatching of finished goods, including delivery notes/barcodes/packing lists/load sheets and any other supporting documentation if/when required
- Maintain effective inter-departmental communication to ensure orders are complete and ready for dispatch on time and in full
- Ensure system data is updated in a timely and accurate way
- Prioritising work flows and those of the warehouse team to maximize efficiency and standards
- Take an active role in the continuous development and improvement of warehouse personnel, procedures and standards
- Maintaining housekeeping standards in line with company policy
- Maintaining safety standards in line with company policy
- Maintaining quality standards in line with company policy
- Identification and escalation of issues through appropriate channels
- Undertake any other duties or responsibilities that are within the employee’s capabilities whenever reasonably instructed.

- Report any health and safety related accidents, incidents or concerns to Supervisors/Management without delay
