To supervise and deliver the highest standards of care to our residents. Administration of medication. Record keeping. Liaising with other health care professionals. **You must have SVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards this.**

Job Requirements:

- An awareness of the Social Care Codes of Conduct
- To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the ageing process
- To demonstrate knowledge of the care planning and risk management process
- To demonstrate commitment to The Company’s Equal Opportunities policy
- To be involved in the key worker role
- To demonstrate clear and concise communication skills

The main priority for the **Carer **role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes.

**What will you be doing as a Senior Care Assistant?**

Duties of a Carer are varied, and no two days will be the same. All service users are individuals and they deserve to be treated as such. However, as a general guide, duties will include:

- Providing, daily routines to ensure consistent high standards of resident care is achieved
- Support senior staff, where appropriate, to carry out their clinical responsibilities for residents and assist with administration of medication in accordance with medication procedures
- Uphold public trust and confidence and be accountable for the quality of your work and take responsibility for maintaining and improving your knowledge and skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Licence/Certification:

- SVQ Level 3 or Equivalent (preferred)
