Cookhouse Supervisor

Bond Personnel have an exciting **temp to perm** Cookhouse Supervisor role in the Ince area. Our client is looking for an experienced supervisor to support the daily production of plan in the Cookhouse with pork-based products.

**Responsibilities for a Cookhouse Supervisor.**
- Lead the team and delegate duties to be carried out effectively and safely.
- Attendance of daily Ops Meeting with Production Manager
- Monitor and report performance issues.
- Ensure smooth shift changeover from incoming / outgoing supervisor, addressing any issues where possible & escalating appropriately where necessary.
- Production scheduling in accordance with Packing Hall requirements in line with production plan and following instructions from Production Manager / Senior Supervisor.
- Preparation and checking of stock (WIP) ready for Transfer to Packing Hall.
- Training of shop-floor personnel (New starter induction & basic operational training. On-going training of teams against SOPs, training out of any changes to procedures, paperwork, etc.)
- Ensuring smooth running & monitoring of equipment / personnel performance and identifying and delivering training of team where required in conjunction with Production Manager / Senior Supervisor.
- Carry out equipment checks.
- Management of departmental hygiene standards; clean as you go, deep cleaning & general adherence to company GMP standards.
- Stock control, ensuring appropriate rotation & management. (Reefers & Internal Freezer.)
- Monitor the entire Oil silo’s to ensure they do not exceed expected parameters either too full or too empty depending on the silo and it’s contents.
- Any other reasonable requests & duties as defined by production supervisor or production manager.

**Requirements for Cookhouse Supervisor.;**
- **At least 1 year in a supervising role.**:

- Previous experience in a similar role/food environment.
- Computer literate
- Effective communication skills, written and orally, at all levels within the business.

**Hours;**
- **Monday to Friday**. NO WEEKENDS.
- **2pm-10pm** shift or **6am-2pm **shift.
- **£12 per hour**
