**Quality Inspector**

Our client, a local leading manufacturing company are in search of a **Quality Inspector** to join their established team in Newry.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing and monitoring quality control relative to Pre-Despatch Inspection
- Maintaining close supervision over Despatch Operatives as they complete PID actions
- Ensuring that relative checks have been completed
- Conduct quality inspections on all incoming products from suppliers and report any issues identified
- Handling, transporting, and storing equipment correctly and safely as per training and instruction
- Responsible for checking that quality inspection documents are completed fully and accurately
- Ensuring that procedures are adhered to i.e., production, quality and health & safety are completed correctly and submitted as required
- Completing daily safety checks to ensure work equipment is in good working order an report any faults found to the Despatch Supervisor
- A minimum of 1 years previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong team working skills
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise work load within a fast
- pace environment
