Junior Buyer

Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with a major Construction Agency based in Rotherham in the search for a Junior Buyer. The client has a current turnover of over £100 million and employs over 1,000 people across the business.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Produce POs based on information received in site requisitions ensuring compliance with relevant specification standards and Bills of Quantities
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure project programmes are met when necessary
- Manage tender / quotation processes and evaluate offers from suppliers and negotiate most favourable terms
- Produce reports of project costs and supplier performance
- Introduce new suppliers and set-up in line with company processes
- Experience within a procurement setting
- Good IT and communication skills
- Ideally have experience working within a construction setting
- Desire to grow and progress within the company
