Upholsterer - Commercial Seating

We are looking for a hardworking Upholsterer to join our Soft Seating Department producing commercial seating products.

The job may be physically demanding, involving lifting and carrying furniture.

The main role and responsibilities will include:

- To achieve customer satisfaction by upholstering products to the correct quality on time and in full.
- Check production paperwork and labels and upholster accordingly.
- Check despatch load requirements and upholster in the order specified.
- Complete daily time sheets for all work undertaken.
- Ensure all products are upholstered correctly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work is completed to the company’s quality standard.
- Experience in using hand tools, power tools, glue and pneumatic staplers
- Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and equipment
- Good attention to detail
- Patience, perseverance & time management
- Safety-awareness; following all H&S procedures
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with and without supervision

Our current working pattern is a 9-hour day, Monday to Thursday (36-hour week)

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackburn, BB1 1TL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
