Reach Truck Driver

**Ashton Recruitment** is currently recruiting a **Reach Truck Driver **for our busy client based in **Toome**. Our client are a market leading kitchen door and component supplier trading throughout the UK and Ireland.

**Location**: Toome

**Position**: Reach Truck Driver

**Hours of Work**: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 12am

**Duration**: Temporary to Permanent

**Rate of Pay**:£13.51 per hour (£11.75 per hour + 15% shifts allowance)

**Key Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Picking and packing orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Reach Truck driving duties
- Safely put-a-way inspected palletised product into racking
- Ensure all pallets are shrink wrapped and secured prior to loading on to the racking.
- Ensure that pallet toppers are removed or secured to pallets prior to loading on to the racking.
- Using handheld scanners and IT systems
- Work as part of the team to ensure daily targets are met
- Familiarise yourself with all relevant operational procedure
- Familiarise yourself and comply with company quality standards
- Ensure that all housekeeping in your area is maintained
- Comply fully with all Company Health and Safety policies
- Any other duties deemed reasonable

**Essential Criteria**:

- 1-3 years’ previous experience in a busy, fast paced warehouse environment.
- Valid Reach Truck Licence
- Computer literate with knowledge on basic IT systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Wrapping of customer orders utilizing the relevant machinery.
- Target driven with a strong desire to succeed
- Ability to prioritise work and use own initiative
