Our client, based in East Belfast, is seeking Process Operatives for temp-perm vacancies.

**Main Purpose**: Feeding and packing on high speed gluing machines, inspecting and preparing products for dispatch.

**Rate of Pay**:

- Days £11 per hour
- Nights £14 per hour

**Hours of work**:
Week 1, Monday - Wednesday 7am to 7pm

Week 2, Thursday - Saturday 7am to 7pm

**There will be an element of nightshift when required 7pm - 7am**

**Main tasks of Job**:

- Identify orders for processing
- Feeding product into machines ensuring optimum speeds are maintained
- Packing product into outers or onto pallets and ensuring correct identification of work
- Operating line clearance
- Inspection of product according to customer and company standards, ensuring the status of the work is clearly identified
- Preparing product for the machines by removing board waste from around cartons and discarding the waste appropriately
- Completion of relevant documentation including Pallet Identification Labels
- Disposing of waste in accordance with stipulated waste streams ensuring that any hazardous waste generated is clearly labelled and stored in suitable bund containment.
- Reporting any hygiene or environmental incidents to Department Manger / Quality, quarantining product affected and conducting effective clean up of the surrounding area.
- Compliance with all relevant procedures relating to Hygiene, Pharmaceutical, Quality, Chain of Custody, Environmental and any other Standards that the company may wish to introduce plus Health & Safety regulations
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment and completing associated documentation.
- Performing other duties deemed necessary by Department Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the department.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a production environment
- Previous working experience of performing quality checks
- Colour differentiation skills
- Methodical approach with the ability to work of own initiative
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime

**Desirable Requirements**
- GCSE passes in English and Maths or equivalent
- Previous experience within the printed packaging industry
